The East African Development Association of Nebraska (EADAN) is a non-profit organization led and governed by former refugees. These individuals possess deep knowledge, relevant skills, and expertise gained from their experience with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
EADAN is dedicated to successfully challenging discriminatory policies by empowering low-income families and refugees in Nebraska. The organization was established on May 14, 2020, by a group of concerned, development-oriented professionals to respond to and address social problems affecting refugees and the broader community.
