Terms & Conditions
- Tariffs are per room per night including full breakfast and 14% VAT.
- The rate excludes 1% Tourism Levy.
- Rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are subject to change without prior notification.
- Minimum stay during festive season: 3 nights (22/12 to 3/1)
- Persons of 16+ years welcome.
- Maximum of 2 persons per room (unfortunately we do not have family rooms or interlinking rooms).
- NO pets allowed.
Pre-payment
- Tax invoices are issued Nett of Commission for payment 30 days prior to arrival.
- Agent credit card payments are accepted with commission adjustment.
- We reserve the right to amend prepayment terms for large group bookings.
Cancellations / Early Departures
- All cancellations or adjustments must be done in writing.
- 0 – 7 days prior to arrival: 100% of accommodation fee will be payable.
- 8 – 14 days prior to arrival: 75% of deposit fee will be forfeited.
- 15 to 21 days prior to arrival: 50% of deposit fee will be forfeited.
- Cancellations in excess of 21 days prior to arrival forfeit 10% of deposit fee for administration and bank charges.
- Cancellations made within 01 – 07 days of arrival date during the Easter Week-end (25/3/2016 to 28/3/2016), Festive Season (15/12/2016 to 10/1/2017) as well as the Knysna Oyster Festival (1/7/2016 to 10/7/2016): 100% of deposit would be forfeited.
- Early departures or NO show: 100% of the reserved value will be forfeited/payable.
- We reserve the right to amend cancellation terms for large group bookings.
Reservations
- On receipt of the 50% deposit, reservations are automatically confirmed.
- Confirmation of your reservation will require credit card details to secure.
- Balance will be payable on arrival/checking in.
- Bookings made 48 hours or less prior to arrival, will be confirmed on full payment of the whole amount.
- Provisional bookings not confirmed within 3 days, will be cancelled.
- Booking requests indicate acceptance of the above conditions.
Directions
From Cape Town (George)
- From George Airport, take the N2 direction Port Elizabeth into Knysna.
- From the WEST (Cape Town), the N2 becomes Knysna’s Main Road.
- At the 5th set of traffic lights, turn left into Long Street.
- Drive all the way up to the T-junction.
- Turn left into Hill Street up to the next T-junction.
- Turn right into Thesen Hill (very steep hill).
- At the first street, turn left into Bosbou Street.
- Follow the road to the end, where the road turns right.
- Madison Manor’s gabled gates will welcome you.
From Port Elizabeth
- From the EAST (Port Elizabeth), the N2 becomes Knysna’s Main Road.
- At the 4th set of traffic lights, turn right into Long Street.
- Drive all the way up to the T-junction.
- Turn left into Hill Street up to the next T-junction.
- Turn right into Thesen Hill (very steep hill).
- At the first street, turn left into Bosbou Street.
- Follow the road to the end, where the road turns right.
- Madison Manor’s gabled gates will welcome you.
