If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Wow wow wow, what a special place Tambuti Lodge is! We stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away, I cried in the taxi leaving! The game drives with Martin were incredible, his wealth of knowledge is unmatched. Malcolm runs a team of kind, caring and friendly staff. Edith and Henry’s cooking was the best food we’ve ever eaten. Douglas’ attention to detail, knowledge and friendly personality really made our trip special. And we cannot leave our Liesbeth, who made our final evening so special with a candlelit private meal, complete with bath ran and hot tub on post game drive. We are so appreciative of the whole Tambuti Team. We will never stop shouting from the rooftops about this magical place and the honeymoon we’ve had, highly HIGHLY recommend - we saw 4/5 of the ‘Big 5’ which means we have an excuse to return! If you’re thinking of booking, do it! It is small with 5 lodges, and intimate, we met people from all over the globe and it made the trip that even more special.
