He was born on December 9, 1983, in Jackson, California, to John and Betsy Zimmerman and raised on the Front Range of Colorado. Chad's educational journey led him through Newton Middle School in Littleton, CO, and Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, CO. He furthered his education and graduated from San Jose State University's Lucas College and Graduate School of Business in 2009.

After college, Chad put his hard-earned degree to good use as a manager at several Denver-area organizations.

In his spare time, Chad rescued his parents from their home repair predicaments, worked on cars with his brother, and loved finding obscure and hilarious YouTube videos to share with anyone who needed a laugh. He will be remembered for his spot-on impersonations of cartoon character voices and his never-ending patience with his young nieces and nephews.
