The duo's romance blossomed during the current season of Amazing Race, when 26-year-old Waltrip popped the question to Smith on-camera during the show, after dating for only five months.
After the newly cemented Waltrips were eliminated from the show (in the episode that aired last week but taped months ago), they put their relationship into hyperdrive. The couple revealed that they have already wed and are prepping for diaper duty.
"We were going to get married in March, but we didn't see the point in waiting because I'm three months pregnant and due in June," Stephanie, 23, tells People. "In fact we're driving back from Ponte Vedra Beach [in Florida], where we had a small wedding at a friend's house."

Chad DiMera and Stephanie Johnson are a former couple from the soap opera, Days of Our Lives. Chad is portrayed by Billy Flynn and Stephanie is portrayed by Abigail Klein. Chad is the son of Stefano DiMera and Madeline Peterson-Woods.
The pair are old friends back when Stephanie was first in Salem. After Stephanie left Salem the two lost contact. When Stephanie moved back to town she started her own PR firm called SJPR. She got a cryptic message from a mystery client. Stephanie's mysterious client turned out to be Paulina Price, who was running for Governor.
Stephanie reconnected with Chad after offering him her condolences for Abigail's murder. The murderer was eventually revealed to be Clyde Weston, and now that Chad had found Abigail's killer, he was ready to get back to work with a new career. Chad didn't want to go back to his family company DiMera Enterprises, and instead was hired by Stephanie after helping her with her work.
While working late, and drinking, Stephanie and Chad shared a kiss. They went back to Steve and Kayla's apartment, and were about to have sex when Chad stopped it.
Stephanie called a meeting with Sloan, and while she and Chad waited for her to arrive, Alex showed up and called Stephanie a hypocrite because he saw her and Chad kissing, and was convinced they were in a relationship. When Sloan refused to back down, Chad and Stephanie schemes to distract Sloan with a counterfeit money while Stephanie would break into Sloan's apartment, and steal the file. When Stephanie broke in, she was surprised to see Alex, half naked, and handcuffed to the bed.
The pair opted to remain friends as Chad wasn't ready to move on from Abigail and Stephanie entered a relationship with Alex Kiriakis. It was especially the case when Stephanie started spending time with Chad's kids Thomas and Charlotte.
When Stephanie and Alex broke up she and Chad both professed their feelings for each other. The pair began having a physical relationship with each other by having sex for the first time together.
Chad accomanpied Stephanie to Greece to help her look for her mom. When the pair are reunited with Stephanie's mom, they learn that her uncle Bo is alive. Stephanie supports Chad's decision to stay in Greece and look for a missing Kate.
The couple are reunited in May 2023 when Chad reports that Kate has been found and is safely with Roman. Chad then goes on to drop the bomb of his sister Megan being alive and him having a new nephew in her son Dimitri.
