Chad Graves: Leading Ent Credit Union and Serving the Colorado Community

Chad Graves has been a significant figure in the financial sector of Colorado, particularly through his leadership at Ent Credit Union. Since 2017, Graves has served as the president and CEO of Ent Credit Union, a role he assumed after joining the institution in 1999 and progressing through various management positions.

Ent Credit Union is the largest credit union in Colorado, serving nearly 500,000 members. While growth is a factor, the credit union leverages its size and influence to offer appealing products, educate its members, and give back to the community.

Ent Credit Union: A Pillar of the Community

Ent Credit Union started as “a little hut” on the property of what’s now the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Recently, Ent Credit Union hosted an event providing food for families at a local community center, attended by over 100 people. The credit union provides each employee with 32 hours of paid leave per year to volunteer, focusing on areas such as pediatric mental health and education.

In the last decade, Ent Credit Union has worked to serve individuals who don’t have the strongest credit profiles. They provide personalized assistance to understand each member's story and financial circumstances.

Financial Education and Accessibility

Ent Credit Union has developed a financial education program to assist members in making informed decisions about loans and credit cards. They also offer financial literacy workshops for workplaces. The institution provides access to credit scores and reports, empowering members to manage their financial health.

“We think like a small institution, and we get very personal. We have all these technological advances you can apply on your mobile device, but you can walk into one of our centers and talk to a lending specialist. You can call them on the phone."

Ent and Wings Credit Union will now serve nearly one million members, predominantly in Colorado and Minnesota. This announcement comes after thoughtful consideration between both credit unions in terms of service, sustainability, and growth.
