Thomson's Falls
Thomson’s Falls, also referred to as Thompson Falls or Nyahururu Falls, is a 74-metre (243 ft) waterfall on the Ewaso Ng'iro River in Central Rift Valley, Kenya. It is situated 3 kilometres (2 mi) from the town of Nyahururu, at 2,360 metres (7,740 ft) elevation, and a few kilometres from Lake Ol Bolossat, which drains from the Aberdare Range.

Thomson Falls was named after Joseph Thomson, the first European to reach the falls in the 1880s. He was named after his father, Thomson, a geologist from Scotland.
The falls are a major economic resource for the adjacent town of Nyahururu. Thomson Falls generally has an oceanic climate.
Visitors can view Thomsons Falls from above, and there is a trail down the bottom of the ravine. Upstream from the falls is one of the highest hippo pools in Kenya.

- By Road: Thomson’s Falls can be accessed by the A2 highway and B5 road from Nairobi. Depending on road conditions and traffic, it takes 3-4 hours.
- By Air: Nanyuki Airstrip is the nearest airstrip.
Karuru Falls
The tallest waterfall in Kenya, Karuru Falls, cascades in three tiers on a drop of 273 meters (896 feet) and is found within the Aberdare National Park in Central Kenya.
