The Moroccan Lounge, a popular venue in Los Angeles known for its intimate setting and exceptional acoustics, is located at 901 E. 7th Street, Los Angeles. To ensure a smooth visit, it's essential to understand the parking options and venue regulations.
Location and Directions
The Moroccan Lounge is situated just west of Downtown Los Angeles. Here are directions from different freeways:
- From the 110 Freeway Southbound: Take the Wilshire Blvd. exit, turn right onto Wilshire, take the second left onto S. Bixel St., take the second right onto West 7th St. The venue is on the left between Garland Ave. and Hartford Ave.
- From the 110 Freeway Northbound: Take the 9th Street exit, turn left onto Francisco St., turn left onto West 8th St., proceed under the 110 Freeway, turn right onto S. Bixel St., turn left onto West 7th St. The venue is on the left between Garland Ave.
Public Transportation: The 7th Street / Metro Center stop is a half-mile walk west on West 7th St. (over the 110 Freeway). The venue is on the left between Garland Ave.
Parking Options
Street parking in the neighborhood around The Moroccan Lounge is relatively easy for Downtown LA. Check the signs, but most meters are free after 6 PM. The venue does not offer valet parking or a customer lot. However, there are alternative parking solutions:
- City Center Lot directly across from the venue on West 7th St.
- Valet Parking at the Mayfair Hotel on the corner of Hartford Ave. and West 7th St. (adjacent to the venue).
- Additional parking lots on S. Lucas Ave. and Ingraham St.
Venue Policies and Regulations
Cashless Venue
The Moroccan Lounge is a cashless venue. The Box Office is CARD ONLY. If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show via American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Apple Pay.

Entry and Seating
The Moroccan Lounge is a General Admission standing room only venue. The time listed on the ticket page for your event (and the ticket itself) is the time that doors open, and music generally begins 15-30 minutes after doors. One to three support acts usually precede the headliner. On weekdays, most shows end before midnight. Some nights we have two shows; if your show is marked as an “Early Show” it will likely end by 9:00pm.
There is limited booth seating in the bar area, and accommodations will be made for anyone medically unable to stand. If you require ADA accommodation, the venue is happy to offer a chair and up to one companion seat.
Re-entry and Smoking Area
Re-entry is allowed with a stamp once you have been checked in at the box office. The smoking area is outside the main entrance to the venue.
Prohibited Items
As always, refer to the prohibited items list for a complete overview of what is and is not allowed in the venue inclusive of items that are deemed unsafe. No outside alcohol, spray paint, or weapons will be allowed inside.

For the comfort and safety of everyone, please do not bring the following items: strollers, signs larger than 8.5″ x 11″, stickers, bags and backpacks larger than 14″ x 14″, alcohol, cans, bottles, laptops, iPads and tablet devices, weapons of any kind, or pets (with the exception of service animals). Due to most performer’s requests, no professional recording devices, cameras with detachable lenses, or GoPros are allowed. Masks or face paint may be worn as long as our staff can verify your photo ID (masks may need to be removed). Costumes representing first responders are prohibited. A full list of prohibited items is posted at the venue, and the venue reserves the right to prohibit additional items deemed inappropriate by venue management at any time. For everyone’s safety, security may inspect and remove any item deemed unsafe, disruptive, or otherwise prohibited, regardless of whether it appears on this list.
We do not have bag restrictions, but please know bags are subject to search upon entering the venue.
Tickets and Refunds
You can purchase tickets online by clicking the TICKETS button on any show page on the Moroccan Lounge site, and you will be taken to the Ticketmaster site. If the show is not sold out and tickets are still available on the day of the event, you may purchase them in person at the box office. Some shows sell very quickly and do not always have tickets available on the day of the show, so we suggest you buy tickets ahead of time.
If a show is canceled, refunds are available at point of purchase. You will be refunded automatically if you purchased a ticket through Ticketmaster.
What is a Presale? Presales are an opportunity to secure your tickets in advance of the general on sale. On sale dates vary, but shows usually go on sale on Fridays at 10am.
