Born and raised in Muskogee, Chad A. Locke's roots in the community run deep. He attended high school at Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield, Vermont, before pursuing higher education. After marrying his wife, Jennifer, in Crested Butte, Colorado, in 1999, he graduated from Northeastern State University.

Mr. Locke graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2004. Licensed in both Oklahoma and Missouri, he joined the family practice in 2006 and has been a fixture in his community ever since.

Community Involvement

Mr. Locke is deeply involved in the Muskogee community. He is a past president of the Exchange Club of Muskogee and Muskogee Young Professionals and was inducted into the 14th class of Leadership Muskogee.

For the past four years, Locke Law Office has sponsored the All Pro Tour Junior Clinic, where Muskogee children have the chance to learn from professional golfers.

Chad A. Locke serves as a Governor for District No. As a member of the OBA Board of Governors, his goal is to communicate to nonlawyers the high level of professionalism he has observed among the members during his years of practice.

The OBA Membership Engagement Committee has been reaching out to our state’s law schools. The Lawyers Helping Lawyers Assistance Program continues to support our members. The Board of Governors is implementing the strategic plan drafted under Past President Miles Pringle’s leadership.

The Board of Governors continues to hold some of the monthly meetings and joint receptions in various counties around the state to be inclusive of more members.
