First Impressions and Hospitality
Having stayed here several years ago, I recently returned to Harmony Hotel and was blown away all over again. From the moment I arrived-starting with the airport shuttle pickup and the friendly porter-the hospitality was top-notch.
One guest noted: "The location is very close to the airport. The shuttle bus arrived in less than 5 mins and I love their food. A good place to stay in Addis."
Another guest praised the staff: "I stayed for 2 nights, service overall was pleasant. Special mention to Asefa. Breakfast is a good mix of sweet and savory, western and local."

My room was on the 5th floor at the newly added tower, the room was quite spacious around 484 sq ft, with a city view, comfortable and spotless, with everything I needed. The housekeeping was consistently excellent. Pillowtop beds feature down comforters and premium bedding. 42-inch LCD televisions come with premium satellite channels.

Harmony Hotel offers 150 accommodations with minibars and safes. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Bathrooms include bathtubs or showers with rainfall showerheads, slippers, bidets, and complimentary toiletries.

One very serious claim was made by a guest who stated: "Our US dollars were stolen in the room. This was a premeditated theft... It was stolen in such a short period of time, causing us to lose $2,700. This is a thief hotel, please choose another hotel."
Another guest had a horrible experience: "The worst hotel that anyone can find. My check in time should be at 12:00 but the hotel can't give me my room until after 18:00. Again after all that they fave me a dirty room wich is not clean and. Then the boiler the toilet flash and the safety box is not working. Omg so I just pushed to check out after 30 minutes check in."

Even small improvements in cleanliness, food quality, and responsiveness would go a long way in making the stay more pleasant for future guests.
