Non-Fiction Bestsellers
Robichaux has successfully launched several non-fiction bestsellers, including An Unfair Advantage and Saving Aziz. In 2023, he shared his motivation for transitioning to fiction, stating, "After successfully launching non-fiction bestsellers like An Unfair Advantage and Saving Aziz, I felt called to tell stories in a way that entertains, encourages, and challenges readers." Earlier that year, he released his seventh nonfiction book, A Mission Without Borders.
Saving Aziz is set for a cinematic adaptation, highlighting the dramatic rescue of his longtime interpreter and friend, Aziz, during the Afghanistan withdrawal. His latest book, A Mission Without Borders, was a USA Today bestseller, highlighting ten rescue and humanitarian aid missions Chad has led to Ukraine since 2022.

Silent Horizons: A Dive into Fiction
Silent Horizons marks Robichaux’s debut into fiction, introducing readers to a new hero named Foster Quinn. This book is a collaboration with author Jack Stewart, known for his acclaimed Battle Born franchise. Stewart's work has garnered praise from #1 New York Times bestsellers Jack Carr and Mark Greaney, among others.

“To do this, I turned my focus to developing a fiction series in which the main character followed a similar career path as mine. Like me, Foster Quinn was a Force Recon Marine who found himself with a JSOC Task Force. Like me, he left the uniformed military behind but stayed on as a singleton AFO operator to hunt down the most vile terrorists on the planet. And, like me, he did so while navigating complex politics, lies, and deceit, his own inner battles, and a family at home."
Robichaux explained his choice to partner with Jack Stewart: “To do this successfully, I needed to partner with someone who could help convey those sacrifices to the reader in a way that was both compelling and challenging but also entertaining. After talking with several writers, I found Jack Stewart. Jack is not only an incredible writer but a like-minded man who reached the pinnacle of his field in the United States Navy as an Aviator and TOPGUN Adversary Instructor. He is a combat veteran who has seen conflict on the ground with special operation units-including with the same JSOC Task Force. It was the perfect match."
Stewart added, “Chad and I were introduced through a mutual friend-Jeff Wilson, of Andrews & Wilson. We had served in the same unit, though at different times, and we started tossing around the idea of writing a fiction series based on his experience in Advanced Force Operations. As we talked through it, we fleshed out a series of books that would follow Force Recon Marine Foster Quinn into the clandestine side of special operations."
Synopsis of Silent Horizons
Foster Quinn is more than a former Force Recon Marine. He’s a husband. A father. A faithful brother to his teammates. When one of them is killed during a high-risk operation to track down a dangerous arms dealer, Foster struggles to balance his roles as a dedicated family man and an elite warrior. Then he gets the chance to step in where his best friend left off, assuming a cover identity in Iran that will get him close to the arms dealer and pave the way for a critical mission. On his own in a new country, he must carefully choose who to trust. An Iranian taxi driver. An American hunter. A British oil executive. One wrong move could spell disaster. The clock is ticking. A team of tier-one warriors is set to plummet through the night sky in enemy territory. They’ve trained for this.
Ryan Steck, praised as “One of the hardest working, most thoughtful, and fairest reviewers out there” by New York Times bestselling author Lisa Scottoline, has “quickly established himself as the authority on mysteries and thrillers” (Author A.J. Tata).

“I have always wanted to write about my experience conducting Advanced Force Operations (AFO) for a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Task Force-giving readers a glimpse into the darkest corners of the world, the incredible men who risk everything, and their families who carry the weight of those sacrifices."
Silent Horizons delivers. He’s gone behind enemy lines countless times before. Shockingly incredible! Not many novels can so emotionally capture both the hardened warrior’s edge and the inner struggle of living two lives, but Silent Horizons delivers.
Steck is also the author of FIELDS OF FIRE, which #1 New York Times bestselling author Jack Carr says “will leave you speechless and begging for more,” LETHAL RANGE, OUT FOR BLOOD, and TED BELL’S MONARCH.
