From the Cederberg wine region, Cederberg 2018 is a youthful Chenin Blanc with fresh melon, pear and pink grapefruit flavours on the palate. The wine had four months of lees contact with battonage giving it some structure, fullness on the mouth and elegance. Chill and pair with sautéed vegetables and herbed quiches.

The Bukettraube from South Africa was medium lemon in color with medium aromas of lemon, lime, peach, grapefruit, white blossom, wet stone, and pineapple. On the palate, it was medium dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium(+) body and flavor intensity, and a long finish. Overall, this was a really interesting bottle with some sweetness that we didn't quite expect. Thankfully, it was balanced with a strong acidity and worked quite well with spicy food, like our Thai-inspired soup.
