The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) have announced that the Mexican Men's National Team will play four matches in the United States this Fall as part of the 20th anniversary of the MexTour. This includes a match against Ghana.
The Ghana match in Charlotte is part of a four-match MexTour fall series. The Bank of America Stadium, home of MLS’ Charlotte FC and NFL’s Carolina Panthers, is a frequent host of MexTour matches, as well as international competitions like the Concacaf Gold Cup.

All four games will be staged during two FIFA windows, allowing for the teams to call up their top squads.

The Fall matches kickoff on Saturday, September 9, at Arlington's AT&T Stadium in North Texas, with Mexico taking on 2022 FIFA World Cup participant Australia. The MexTour continues Tuesday, September 1, with Mexico's first-ever match against Uzbekistan at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, also a 2026 FIFA World Cup host venue.
MexTour will be the third date in which international soccer competition is played at Bank of America Stadium in 2023. Leagues Cup 2023 brought LigaMX side Club Necaxa to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte FC's first taste of international competition.
