Recent Challenges

Due to extreme flooding on September 24th and 25th, the entire Franschhoek Village has been temporarily cut off. Roads partially reopened on September 26th, but all utilities, including electricity, water and telephone connections are still down. Accordingly all hotels, restaurants, shops and businesses in the village have had to close. Regrettably Akademie Street Boutique Hotel is no different.
