Blackface's Rendition

Blackface's version in terms of lyrics is almost the same with 2Baba. However, Blackface’s has a different feel; the reggae feel. Blackface o ti release version e oh fun Africani queeni (As in Blackface has finally released his own version of African queen) after so many years; oti peg an o (Its been long) of holding grudges with his former band mate- 2face now 2Baba whom he accused of stealing the song from him.

I also noticed that Blackface’s version is quite lengthier that 2Baba’s own. His version lasted for about 5 minutes 5 seconds. Infact I come dey feel am pass 2Baba own. But one thing is certain, “First will always be the first”. What do I mean?

I love the way he took this part “How can I deny this feeling am feeling inside” at the two minutes 6 seconds of the song. I did not even know that Blackface has a sweet voice like this. I love the song sha. It is great and also melodious like that of 2Baba’s version.

Wait o, why do I feel 2Baba must have changed his name from 2face to 2baba because of the constant fight he was always having with Blackface.
