Required Documents for Passport Renewal

- Original and photocopy of Zimbabwe Long Birth Certificate.
- Original and photocopy of the Identity Card (ID) for those over the age of 16 (Paper type, metal type or plastic type). Please note that all Zimbabwean children over the age of 16 are required by law to obtain their Zimbabwe National Registration Card (ID) before applying for Zimbabwe Passports. Registration cards can only be obtained by going to Zimbabwe to submit the application in person.
- Marriage Certificate and its photocopy, (for married women - the surname on the identity card must be the spouse's surname).
- Photocopy of first page with personal information for old/Expired Passport and new type passport or pages 1 to 5 for old type Passport or letter from Ministry of Interior.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or Legal Guardian with an ID card or a valid Passport to sign Part 5 of the Passport form. Dependents Parents and Legal Guardians of children under the age of 18 who are not residing in Iran are required to sign Section 5 at the Embassy and send it to their dependents. Please note that all visits to the embassy are strictly by appointment.
