According to Mwatsahu, Kenya serves as a gateway for Pakistani investors to access a substantial market of 38 African states that are landlocked to Kenya, benefiting from its international seaport in Mombasa. Kenya has pledged full support to Pakistani investors exploring potential investment areas within the country.

In response, the Commerce Minister of Pakistan welcomed Kenya's aims to strengthen ties with Pakistan and emphasized the need for exchange of information, business delegations, and regular participation in each other's trade fairs. To facilitate expanded trade, the Commerce Minister also pointed out that both countries should lower tariff and non-tariff barriers.
