Indomie Noodles Stir Fry? What’s not to love? Noodle is a fast food in Nigeria and a meal one can easily prepare when they are hungry. My favourite noodle is the Indomie Noodle.
Dufil is home to Nigeria's most loved noodle brand, Indomie Instant Noodles. Through consistent backward integration efforts over the past decade, Dufil has established itself as the leader in the instant noodles category.
Ingredients
- Indomie Noodles
- Chicken
- Onions
- Vegetables (peppers, carrots, green onions)
- Ginger
- Bacon (optional)
- Vegetable oil
- Indomie Noodles seasoning
- Chilli flakes (optional)
- Egg
Preparation
I didn’t intend to use Indomie Noodles from the get go, I had planned to use Egg noodles but decided against when I realized the couple of bags I had at home were expired. Now, you can use just about any kind of noodles you so desire, you can even use Rice or Pasta.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Bring some water to boil. Then add the Indomie Noodles. Cook on for 3 minutes or until you achieve your desired consistency. Be sure to decant any excess water, you need the Noodles to be as dry as possible, no broth.
- Place a pan on medium heat, when the oil heats up, add chopped ginger. Fry for a minute, then add the seasoned Chicken.
- Decant some of the oil at this time, then place the pan back on the hob.
- Add the chopped peppers, carrots, green onions and any other vegetables.
- Add the cooked Chicken and Bacon, combine, then saute for another minute.
- Add vegetable oil to your heated pot, stir fry your onions and other vegetables, pour the egg and fry (scramble), then add your mixture of noodles and spice then stir.
- Then add the Indomie Noodles seasoning, I used just 3 out of the 4. Also add the chilli flakes if you’re not using the chilli part of the Indomie seasoning.
- Combine thoroughly and that’s it.
Notice I didn’t use any salty seasoning? That’s because my Chicken is well seasoned and the bacon salty. If you aren’t using any of these, then feel free to add Knorr chicken cube or just salt.
Ideally, you should aim for this consistency. I say this because, any soggier and you’ll end up with soggy ,clumpy and overcooked noodles. This will be no good especially if you’re storing some for later, the more you reheat it, the soggier it becomes.
