Additional Considerations
We realize that this might be the one and only time many of these guests travel to Morocco, just based on distance and budget. And we also realize that there’s a lot to check off the “must-see” list in this small but dense country. As we are a full service travel business, it’s our pleasure to help your guests organize their “pre” or “post” travel extensions in Morocco if they are planning to do some additional exploring on their own.
Not only can we provide travel advice and custom itinerary planning, but we can also arrange transport, accommodations, local guides & activities, and more. Many of our retreat leaders in the past have even organized “opt-in or out” 4/5 day extensions to visit places like Fes & Chefchaouen (The Blue City) so the group continues on from the Sahara trip after returning back to Marrakech.
Also remember that Morocco is a conservative country. For women, we recommend bringing modest clothing - no low cut or crop tops and bottoms need to be at least knee length. Please bring at least one top that covers your shoulders.
Please keep in mind there is a lot of travel by car and you will need to be comfortable with up to 7 hours of travel in a car in a single day.
US Citizens need a passport with at least 6 months of validity. We will capture your dietary needs in a survey prior to the retreat and pass this along to our designated tour guide.
Why Morocco is Safe
Absolutely! The Flow team has personally explored Morocco, and this itinerary is crafted from our favorite experiences. Both families, including a 1-year-old and an 11-year-old, felt completely safe and welcomed by the incredibly generous and helpful locals. Morocco values tourism highly, ensuring a secure and enriching experience.
Optional Add-Ons and activities
Enhance your retreat with optional add-ons tailored to your interests. Choose from relaxing visits to our on-site hammam spa, or using your free time to explore the souks, museums, and other incredible sites (and shopping) Marrakech has to offer.
