Morocco Omari, born on May 7, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, is a multifaceted American talent. He excels as a film, television, and theater actor, as well as a screenwriter, producer, and director.

Growing up on the West Side of Chicago, Morocco recalls needing to be a storyteller due to limited outlets in his environment.

Early Career

Morocco began acting professionally in his early 20s. He initiated his career with one-off roles in series like "Early Edition" (CBS 1996-2000), "Frasier" (NBC 1993-2004), "Angel" (The WB 1999-2004), and "24" (Fox 2001-2010, 2014). He also appeared in TV series such as Malcolm & Eddie.

Shortly afterward, Omari landed his earliest recurring part on the revival series "Dragnet" (ABC 2003-04) and "Joan of Arcadia" (CBS 2003-05). He had recurring roles in Joan of Arcadia with Patrick Fabian, the television show Dragnet with Chuti Tiu and François Chau, Crossing Jordan and NCIS with Pauley Perrette.
