Detailed Day-by-Day Highlights

Day 1: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Your 15-night adventure begins in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, an exciting city that’s worth exploring a few days before your cruise starts. A cruise out of Fort Lauderdale is one of the most popular ways to experience the best of the Caribbean, but this coastal South Florida city is a worthy destination in and of itself.

Port Everglades is the main cruise port near Fort Lauderdale, but just a few miles away you’ll find beautiful white-sand beaches, a lively food and shopping scene, and cerulean blue waterways dotted with impressive yachts and sailboats.

Go for an early-morning stroll along the Fort Lauderdale Beach promenade and watch the sun rise over the water. Then grab breakfast beachside at one of the many open-air cafes that line the waterfront. If you’re looking for a wilder way to spend the day, set out on an eco-kayak tour through mangrove forests, calm bays, and emerald-green inlets - Fort Lauderdale is home to more than 300 miles of waterways, which has earned it the nickname, “Venice of America.”

Your ship departs promptly at 5:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols.

Day 2: Nassau, Bahamas

Caribbean charm shines in the Bahamian capital, where you’re never more than a few steps away from rhythmic percussions, appetizing flavors, white-sand beaches, and some of the clearest waters in the world. This picture-perfect paradise was once a pirate’s haven- and you can explore its colorful past of buccaneers, blockade-runners and bootleggers along historical streets and at the three colonial fortresses that line the shores.

If you’re looking for a more hands-on maritime adventure, look no further. Cruise to Nassau and swim with stingrays, dive with dolphins, or spot colorful coral on a glass-bottom boat. And just across the bridge is beautiful Paradise Island, home to world-famous luxury hotels and resorts.

Day 11: Tangier, Morocco

Spend the day exploring Tangier, Morocco, before you set sail on your epic cruise. Begin at the iconic Kasbah, a hilltop fortress offering sweeping panoramas of the Mediterranean, or explore the Medina, a maze of bustling souks filled with spices, textiles, and handmade treasures.

In this awe-inspiring city, continents meet and cultures blend in spectacular fashion. And it’s easily accessible, and the Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport is only a short drive away. A cruise to Tangier delivers an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty, leaving travelers with memories to last a lifetime.

Day 12: Seville (Cadiz), Spain

Seville’s distinct personality is intoxicating. Wander its narrow streets and you’ll discover palaces built by Moorish kings in Old Town and lively tapas bars in Santa Cruz. Admire the lavish stylings of Plaza de España, and stroll through greenery at Maria Luisa Park. Stand in Spain’s oldest bullfighting ring. Marvel at Spanish masterworks at the Museum of Fine Arts. Or breathe in citywide views from Torre del Oro.

Check out the works of the city's most famous former resident at the Picasso Museum, and savor regional, fresh-caught pescado frito (fried fish) with a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Day 14: Cartagena, Spain

The Mediterranean port of Cartagena is home to 3,000 years of history, with the Roman Theatre dating back to the first century A.D. Visit the eighteenth-century Concepcion Castle and pop into its historical interpretation center while you're there.

Day 15: Valencia, Spain

Head to El Cabanyal, the old fishermen's quarter near the beach, to enjoy the sunshine and fresh seafood. Then, soak in the Mediterranean sun and bright-blue waters at Malvarrosa Beach.

Day 16: Barcelona, Spain

Afternoons in Barcelona are best spent eating Spanish tapas in a cozy bar. Then take a Gaudí-inspired architecture crawl to see modernist wonders like Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, Park Güell and the awe-inspiring La Sagrada Família.

Explore medieval dockyards at the Maritime Museum- or throw on an apron and learn the centuries-old art of Catalan cuisine in a chef-led cooking class.

The cruise might have ended, but there are still some great activities to enjoy in the area. If you flew into this port, be mindful of your departure flight time and plan accordingly.
