Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was among the first safari lodges established in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, explaining its mature and lush gardens and trees.
Accommodation and Amenities
The lodge features fifty guest cottages divided into two wings on either side of the main public areas.
Masai Mara National Reserve is accessible via a 6-hour drive from Nairobi or a 1-hour flight from Wilson Airport to Keekorok airstrip.
The lodge boasts 99 rooms, a conference room, a bar, a lounge, a restaurant, an outdoor boma dining area, a swimming pool, and a gift shop. For entertainment, a TV is available in the bar.
Guests can cool off in the inviting swimming pool, set among grass and trees or rest between game activities in the privacy of their tents on a small deck offering views of the surrounding wilderness.

The Honeymoon Suite
The honeymoon suite features an extremely large, luxuriously appointed bedroom with a king-size bed, dressing table, and indoor seating area.
Its lavishly appointed bathroom contains both a shower and a sunken bath. Its sheltered veranda offers some of the most magnificent views available over the African landscapes below.

Sekenani River Camp
Sekenani River Camp lies in a forested region where the Sekenani River originates.
The Masai Mara’s Sekenani Gate is only a short four miles away from the camp.
The environment is tranquil, and the main tented area is open and pristine. The dining area is set under a high, reeded roof with canvas walls, and a small sitting area is located in the main tent with bonfires and seating available on the verandah.
The surrounding bush is lush and creates a perfectly intimate setting for the 15 secluded luxury tents, separated from the main public tent by a thrilling suspension bridge.
