Dedication of the New Auditorium
The new auditorium, capable of seating approximately 5,000 congregants, was constructed in about a year, according to the Founder and General Overseer, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye. The dedication event was graced by prominent figures, including the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira, as special guests.
Politicians and leading clergy members from both within Ghana and abroad also attended the ceremony. The event underscored the church's influence and its role in the religious landscape of Ghana.
Call for Unity and Wisdom
During a declaration service, Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International, Nicholas Duncan-Williams, emphasized the importance of unity among Christian leaders. He urged leaders, especially those in charismatic churches, to avoid actions that could divide the body of Christ. Duncan-Williams spoke against jealousy, identifying it as a major threat to Christian faith, causing division and animosity within the Kingdom of Christ.

“Let us not be a people that bring one another down, let us not kill one another,” Duncan-Williams appealed, stressing the need for mutual support and encouragement among Christian leaders.
The Archbishop also advised pastors to exercise discretion and wisdom when commenting on political issues, particularly with the upcoming 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections. He cautioned against making predictions that could potentially destabilize the country.
“Those in the prophetic office need to be wise and exercise your discretions so you don't lose your head… I'm praying for you that in 2020 you will be wise and you will have wisdom in your utterances,” the Archbishop appealed.
Government's Commendation
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia lauded the leadership of The Maker’s House Chapel International, particularly Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, for his exemplary leadership, hard work, and sacrifice in building the “magnificent edifice.”
Dr. Bawumia also acknowledged the Christian community's significant contributions to the governance of Ghana over the years. “We [government] shall continue to collaborate to seek advice from the church on many more issues in our quest to developing our country,” he stated, highlighting the government's commitment to engaging with religious organizations.

He further commended religious groups for fostering peaceful coexistence, urging citizens to cherish and protect this harmony. Dr. Bawumia emphasized the shared beliefs between Christians and Muslims, highlighting their common faith in God and key figures like Jesus Christ.
“In the spirit of national peace and cohesion, I urged persons of all religious persuasions to continue to live in harmony and contribute their quota to Ghana's development. We must protect such inter-religious heritage and make Ghana a good place for such inter-religious heritage,” Dr. Bawumia added.
The Genesis of The Maker’s House Chapel
According to Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye, the vision for The Maker’s House was conceived in 1998 but remained in development until it was launched on October 28, 2011, as a prayer fellowship with approximately 80 people. The prayer fellowship, known as Morning Aura, quickly gained popularity, attracting hundreds and becoming a significant prayer center for many Christians.
After a year as a fellowship, The Maker’s House Chapel International officially started as a full-fledged church. The church has experienced substantial growth due to its deep revelatory insights into the word of God, attracting thousands of registered members. This growth necessitated the search for a larger space to accommodate the expanding congregation.

Royalhouse Chapel International
Royalhouse Chapel International was founded in December 1992 as International Bible Worship Centre (IBWC), following the renaming of Showers of Blessings Fellowship. The first Sunday service took place at the Ghana Education Service (GES) Model Nursery School in North Ridge, Accra, with twelve adults and five children. Over the years, the church moved to various locations before settling at Ahenfie, Obetsebi Lamptey Circle.
In March 1999, the church's name was changed to Royalhouse Chapel International to reflect its global focus. Since its inception, the church has grown from a small group to a congregation of tens of thousands.

Pastor Mensa Otabil, Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), praised Dr. Boadi Nyamekye and The Maker’s House Chapel International. He acknowledged the exceptional work and the beautiful church campus, emphasizing its high-class nature.
He emphasized that his comments were not intended as an insult to the government but rather an acknowledgement of the exceptional achievement by Dr. "…Many times when we see God use a person like Dr. Boadi Nyamekye here, and you see him and see the amazing work that God has done with him. In this church on this campus, you have one of the most beautiful church campuses anywhere this is, this is a high-class place."
"This is how even the government of Ghana will struggle to build this and I am not in any way insulting the Government of Ghana. I'm just speaking like Jesus Christ. Let the facts be the facts.
"The Pink Lady, the National Conference Center, was also built by, I'm not sure it's easy to Yugoslavia or some other country which doesn't exist now. Built it and dashed it to us.
