Despite their similar appearances, Page confirmed to Reality Titbit that they’re “only related through our HGTV family.” The assumption that they're related probably stems from the fact that the women are both southern and share a ton of physical characteristics.

Despite the fact that Page and Egypt are constantly being compared, the two women seem to be on good terms. In fact, they both follow each other on Instagram.

According to Live Ramp Up, Page has some family members in her life she cares a lot about, but there's no mention of her growing up with siblings. Egypt, on the other hand, has spoken a lot about her sister Tewan Sherrod. According to Gossip Next Door, Egypt’s sister is also her best friend.

Recent Emotional Challenges for Egypt Sherrod

It’s been an emotional few weeks for longtime HGTV star Eygpt Sherrod. Last month, Sherrod revealed that HGTV had dropped Married to Real Estate, which she co-hosted with her husband, Mike Jackson. Sherrod revealed via Instagram on June 24 that HGTV had informed her and Jackson that “Married to Real Estate” wouldn’t be returning for a fifth season, which shocked countless fans.

The series ran for a total of four seasons, with Sherrod hosting alongside her husband, Mike Jackson. “When you work together, especially for what we do, it’s almost 24/7,” Jackson, 46, an expert builder, says. Sherrod and Jackson often take advantage of opportunities to steal couple time.

“It’s hard for him to get away, so I’ll bring lunch to him,” Sherrod says. “It doesn’t have to be grand; it doesn’t have to be a five-star restaurant [or] some experience where we’re swept off somewhere.

And I can have my candles and my Solfeggio frequencies [to promote body and mind health] playing all night. I can sleep with the fan on without complaint.

“Laughter is great for relationship longevity,” Sherrod (with Jackson) tells Us.

The vulnerable weekend post came amid a particularly emotional period for Sherrod. Her father passed away just weeks after she revealed last month that her show Married to Real Estate had been canceled by HGTV amid a wave of cancellations at the channel.

Sherrod first posted about her dad’s passing in a comment on Love It or List It star Page Turner‘s Instagram page on July 9. In the post, where Turner revealed she’d recently lost her mom to cancer, Sherrod commented, “I lost my father this week as well. I am so sorry for your loss.

“My father passed away two weeks ago,” the HGTV star wrote. “Due to our complicated relationship, I hadn’t seen him in 15 years. I wasn’t angry, I forgave him a long time ago. But years passed and we no longer knew each other.

“So we both stopped trying. I always thought one day we’d sit down and talk and heal. Tmrw is an arrogant assumption. The weight of that realization hit Sherrod over the weekend, she told followers in her post’s caption, writing on July 27, “I finally grieved last night. We never really knew one another but it still hurt.

“A slight crack became a gaping wound and I grieved the relationship we never had. The years that went by with no calls or effort. He never met my children. Yet I still whaled in his remembrance. Then he came to me and showed me that he loved us and never stopped. He just didn’t know how to fix it,” she continued.

“Yet I still whaled in his remembrance,” Sherrod continued. “Then he came to me and showed me that he loved us and never stopped. He just didn’t know how to fix it. Parents don’t have all the answers as we think they should. But we should love and forgive them unconditionally. I lost a piece of me that I never really got to know. Too little and too late. Rest well father. I forgive. I love.

Sherrod’s followers were quick to show their support, one person writing that “losing a father, especially one you didn’t get the chance to fully know brings a different kind of grief. It’s layered. It’s heavy.

Hundreds of people liked Sherrod’s comment and many replied with their condolences, including “Fixer to Fabulous” star Jenny Marrs, who wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss, Egypt. Praying for your family as well. May you feel peace that surpasses understanding in your grief. Shea Hicks-Whitfield, who stars on “Bargain Block,” which also didn’t get renewed for a new season, empathized with Sherrod, writing, “I have a very similar story. My Dad passed over a year ago. I know that feeling all too well.

Fans and friends also flooded her July 27 post, thanking Sherrod for her honesty and vulnerability in sharing her relationship with her dad, including one who wrote, “Losing a father, especially one you didn’t get the chance to fully know brings a different kind of grief. It’s layered. It’s heavy. “I had been in relationships where I felt like I had to shrink myself because I was too much for the room. My dreams were too big, my voice was too loud,” the interior designer and real estate broker recalls. “This was the first relationship where I felt like my too-muchness is exactly what he loved.

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa kickstarted their HGTV journey in 2013’s Flip or Flop. “During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” they said in the statement to People in December 2016.

The former couple, who share kids Taylor and Brayden, finalized their divorce in January 2018. After Christina split from Tarek, she was married to her second husband, Ant Anstead, from 2018 to 2021. They welcomed one child together during their marriage, son Hudson.

Josh appeared on Christina’s shows Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country. He was also slated to compete with her on The Flip Off, going head to head against Tarek and his second wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. However, Josh filed for divorce from Christina in July 2024.

She also filed, and they’ve been engaged in a messy divorce battle ever since. Exes Page Turner and DeRon Jenkins were tapped as hosts of Flip or Flop Nashville, which debuted in 2018. “Are there ever really any good breakups?” Page said.

Masters of Flip’s Kortney and Dave Wilson began their home renovation series in 2015. “It is with a very heavy heart that we share with all of you that after nearly 18 years of marriage, we have decided to separate,” they said.

“As most of you know, there is so much more to every story and ours is no different. What we want you to know most of all is that we have the utmost love and respect for one another. After their split, their show Making it Home with Kortney and Dave aired on HGTV Canada before Dave left after one season.

She later reflected on their split, saying, “I’ve met so many people who feel like their life is over post-divorce or, you know, and people have gone through some hard times. And I did that.
