Madison Beer’s Background and Partnership with Fenty Beauty
Ten years after her breakthrough, Madison Beer was named ambassador for Fenty Beauty - Rihanna’s very own makeup company. Fenty Beauty has always been about inclusivity, and picking up Madison Beer was yet another way to show their commitment to all types of ethnicities and skin tones.

Madison Beer is of mixed ethnicity. Her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish, while her father is Moroccan Jewish. Madison’s paternal grandfather was Morton Donald “Morty” Beer (the son of Samuel Beer and Esther “Essie” Golditch). Morton was born in New York. Samuel was born in Wishnitz, Poland, the son of Jacob Beer. Madison’s paternal grandmother is Lorraine Sosnow (the daughter of Morris Sosnow/Sosnowitz and Kate Gitla Zdrowitz). Madison has a slightly tan skin tone. Something that, for the longest time, was generally ignored in the beauty industry. For years, almost every product to come out catered to white skin tones, and very few products were designed specifically for BIPOC people.
With Fenty’s large catalog of different tones, people like Madison are finding the colors they need to match their skin tones. Madison has said she uses Fenty’s foundation, contour, bronzer, and lip color.
Madison has always been a big fan of Rihanna. “I idolize Rihanna and knowing that she created Fenty Beauty to make beauty more accessible to people of all different skin types and tones is a perfect example of why,” she told Women’s Wear Daily.
Fenty Beauty’s Commitment to Diversity
Fenty Beauty is pushing out beauty products that don’t only “include” BIPOC people as an afterthought, but are made specifically for them. Their goal is to provide all kinds of beauty products for people with different skin tones. According to Rihanna, the brand was made for people of all "shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races.”

Maggie Lindemann and musician Audriix served as the opening acts for the North American leg while Leah Kate served as the European leg opener.
By mid 2022, Beer revealed to Manchester Evening News that her upcoming second studio album was "coming together really nicely" and she was working on songs for it.
