Visa Requirements for Ghana
Obtaining the correct visa is crucial for entering Ghana. Here's a breakdown of the documents you'll typically need to provide:
- Passport: You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have a blank page available.
- Ghana Visa Electronic Application: The application form must be filled out completely and have answers for all fields.
- Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form: Filled out completely.
- Photographs: Please provide a color, passport size photo. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and must have been taken not more than three (3) months from the date of submitting the application.
- Evidence of financial support: Bank statement or a letter of invitation from your host in Ghana.
- Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.
Important Notes:
- Non-US Passport holders must provide proof of US residency permits to qualify for a Ghana visa in the US (photocopies).
- Applications must be completely filled out, and typed.
- Application for persons under eighteen (18) years must be submitted with a copy of the birth certificate, a Ghana Consent form signed by both parents, and a copy of the parent’s photo ID.
