Chad Waters Jones, 44, went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2024. He was born and raised in Level Plains, AL. A private graveside service was held at County Line Baptist Cemetery.
The family received friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. His pride and joy were his children.
He loved his family and being with family. Chad is survived by his children, Chance Waters Jones and Callie Nicole Jones; mother, Shirley J. He was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Clayton Heath Jones and Noah Scott Jones.

On March 30, 2025, Chad E. Jones of Maumee, OH, went HOME to Jesus after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, subtle smile and distinct voice that kept everyone entertained. Since he always had nicknames for others, his were many - Chadwick, Earl, Chester Copperpot, Chiz, and Chadly to name just a few.

In his 25+ years with Lucas County Courts he had an impeccable work ethic. Chad was a loyal friend and easy for anyone to talk to. He had a passion for sports, especially the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, and an unbelievable ability to recall facts, names, and college mascots. Chad loved cats and had several over the years including Boo Kitty, Dillon, Willow, and Samoa. His infamous enthusiasm for food wowed and shocked those in his circle.
Left to an amazing village of friends to support them are his wife of 21 years, Wendy (Delauter); and son, Jack. Chad is also survived by his devoted parents, Randy (Sarah), Vicki Jones, and Robert Meyer; sister, Jami (Will); and niece, Daisy.

Chad Jason Jones
Chad Jason Jones went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 15, 2024, at the age of 53. Chad’s Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 24, in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, Columbus, GA, with Interment following at Linwood Cemetery, also in Columbus. Visitation was immediately prior to the service.
Chad was the son of Kenneth Slaughter Jones and Sandra Fuller Hooks, both of whom preceded him in death. An alumnus of Columbus College, now Columbus State University, Chad earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, a field that reflected his unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. Upon returning to civilian life, Chad continued his life's mission of service in a new capacity as a Firefighter/Paramedic.

Chad's passions were as vast as his heart, with his love for his dogs shining as brightly as his service record. Never without a canine companion, Chad found solace and joy in the company of his beloved pets, each of whom was as much a part of his family as his human relatives. A master storyteller, Chad possessed the rare ability to bring laughter and delight to any gathering.
His impersonations were not mere performances but experiences that captured the essence of his subjects, leaving audiences in stitches, no matter how many times they had heard the tale. Chad's loyalty knew no bounds. His circle of friends was unbreakable, and to be a part of it was to be assured of a steadfast ally for life.
To his beloved sister, Tammy, Chad was not just a brother but a beacon of love and gratitude. In sum, Chad Jason Jones lived a life that was a beacon of service, laughter, and unconditional love. Those who had the fortune of crossing paths with him were touched by a spirit so genuine and full of life that to know him was, indeed, to love him.
As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the joy he brought to our lives and find solace in the knowledge that his love for us was as boundless as ours for him. Chad Jones went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Indianapolis. Chad was employed with Chrysler for over 20 years, currently in tool and die. He loved all kinds of sports and enjoyed coaching at Lewis Cass with the youth league in Walton.

He enjoyed spending time with his kids and family, doing anything outdoors, camping, fishing, snowmobiling. He loved being a part of the Moose Carden Fishing Clinic and working on cars.
Surviving family include his children, Capreese and Brinxston Jones. His significant other Lyndsay Moloch and son Matthew McGuire; his parents, Bobby and Connie Jones, Galveston; his sisters, Christine (Brent) Wines, Kokomo; and Jennifer (Ryan) Preston, Walton; his nieces, Kyah, Rylan, Baylor and Lynnex; his paternal grandmother, Janice Horn, Kokomo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins and great friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Pastor Jeremy Jones officiating. Burial followed in Galveston Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the funeral home.
Face masks were required for all attending services and visitation due to the order of the Indiana State Health Department and Governor Holcomb’s order.
