While the appetizers were enjoyable, the entrees fell short of expectations. The mashed potatoes and salmon were not of the highest quality. However, the grilled shrimp and tacos were good. The service was exceptional. I would return solely for the pepper soup, which was the most delectable dish we shared collectively. The steak was also not particularly impressive.

Jolly Jolly Bakery

Owners James and Jolly Onobun came to Houston from Nigeria in 1981. Nigeria has a big bread culture, and the Onobuns’ bakery, Jolly Jolly, has been in its current location for about eight years. Employees come from across West Africa, not just Nigeria, and the influences show on the menu.
