Juicy House of Ribs and SoulFood offers a unique blend of African and Southern United States flavors. Co-owned by Jallah "A.J." Sorsor and his wife, Chontae, the restaurant quietly opened its doors on March 1, bringing a new culinary experience to Fargo.

“We got the best ribs in the city,” co-owner Jallah "A.J." Sorsor said Wednesday, March 19, during a break before the supper hour. Beef and pork ribs lead the entrees menu, with several preparations, including traditional barbecue, peanut butter ribs, or southern fried.

Other entrees include salmon, chicken, and shrimp dishes, and Liberian dry rice or jollof rice. Customers can also enjoy appetizers such as roasted meat sticks, fried or grilled shrimp, barbecued wings or grilled pepper wings, catfish nuggets, and fried plantain. Side dishes are also available to complete your meal.

"Whatever type of flavor, we can make it for you,” Sorsor said. “You can freestyle!”
