Discover the Best African American Travel Blogs to Follow

The travel industry, while vast and exciting, often lacks diversity. Black travel bloggers are underrepresented, and despite the current emphasis on "Diversity and Inclusion," many travel brands fail to equitably engage and compensate bloggers of color. This curated list aims to highlight exceptional Black travel bloggers who cover a wide range of travel niches, from luxury to adventure and everything in between.

Even if you've seen similar lists before, be sure to explore the new additions at the bottom, as these bloggers deserve recognition for their unique perspectives and valuable content.

Why This List Matters

Travel blogging lists often lack diversity, presenting a uniform view of the world. This compilation seeks to address that by showcasing both well-known pioneers and emerging Black travel bloggers. Instagram, a platform that often favors certain types of bloggers and photos, is used here to introduce these diverse voices. By following these bloggers, you can diversify your own feed and gain new perspectives on travel.
