In 2023, during a strategic board meeting held at the University of Latvia in Riga, the Council approved the launch of ECLBS Accreditation-a quality assurance label designed for business schools committed to academic excellence and international standards. European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS) was established in 2013 as a professional network connecting business schools across Europe and beyond.
The meeting was attended by board members from institutions such as the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA), Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE), Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Latvian Chamber of Commerce (ALCC), and the Latvian Honorary Consulate in Morocco, as well as invited guests from the University of Sunderland in London, Vernadsky Taurida National University (TNU), ISB Dubai Academy, and others, including a Latvian legal advisor specializing in higher education.
