Guest Reviews
Guests highlight the exceptional service, beautiful beachfront location, cultural insights provided by educators, and the vibrant entertainment organized by Chris and his team. While some minor issues were encountered like room setup problems or limited dessert options, overall experiences were highly positive with special mentions to staff members like Miss Anu and Keshav for their outstanding care.
Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but others seemed disinterested - and it quickly became clear that if you’re not French-speaking or from Europe, you’ll likely feel overlooked. The daytime entertainment was honestly poor. The leisure team seemed unmotivated, and there wasn’t much effort to include or engage all guests - only a select few. It also felt like you had to spend extra money to receive good service. For an all-inclusive resort, there was a noticeable lack of service around the pool and beach - no waiters coming around to offer drinks or assistance.
However, many guests have had exceptional experiences:

"I spent a weekend at Solana Beach, and I must say it was one of the best resort experiences I've ever had. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade - a truly delightful gesture. The room was breathtaking, offering a stunning sea view. The food was delicious, although the dessert selection could be more varied. I wasn't particularly impressed with the drinks - while the cocktails were beautifully presented, they lacked balance and flavor, coming across as flat and uninspired. That said, the service was exceptional. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at Solana Beach."
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All of them face the sea, which is beautiful at any time of day. It’s very clean - not only the rooms, but also the yard. The staff clean and rake the grounds every day. All the staff are very kind and helpful.
