Vegan Ethiopia Episode 1: Injera Bread
An evening at Lucy calls to mind its inspiration’s Amharic name, Dinknesh. On a Monday evening, the restaurant wasn’t super packed, so getting seated right away wasn’t an issue. There were a few other patrons.

A Personal Dining Experience
One recent dining experience involved sharing the awaze lamb and beef tibs with a side of tomato salad and cabbage. For the most part, everything was tasty. The beef was found to be a little too dry, but it was still flavorful. An extra serving of awaze sauce was requested on the side, which was good, though a tad bit spicier would have been preferred.

Potential Improvements
While the food is generally well-received, there are areas for improvement. One area is the service. In one instance, after handing out menus, the server was ready to take the order immediately. When asked for a few more minutes, the server disappeared for about 20 minutes.
