Kenya Moore, a prominent figure from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," has always been admired for her beauty and radiant skin. Beyond the on-screen drama, Moore has built her brand on her beauty expertise, particularly in skincare and haircare. Let's delve into her comprehensive skincare routine, exploring her experiences with medical spa treatments and her at-home regimen.
Medical Spa Treatments
Kenya Moore is sharing new details about her skincare journey. In a September 7 Instagram Story video, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member documented herself getting a treatment at Charette Cosmetics Medical Spa, tagging Atlanta aestheticians Paul Charette and Shaina Jade in her clip.
“I know, I know, I know, I look crazy, but I just am so excited for my results,” Kenya said. “I just got a MelanX peel. I cannot wait to show you where it’s going to end.” It turns out that wasn’t the only skin treatment Kenya received that day. “I got Morpheus [a radio-frequency microneedling treatment], I got regular microneedling, I got MelanX, the peel. I don’t even know what else I got,” she said with a laugh.
Later, she added, “I am so excited for my results.” When she achieves her desired skincare results, Kenya shared in her video, “I’m hoping that this is gonna be, like, a life-changing moment. So we’ll see.”
More recently, Kenya returned to Charette Cosmetics, this time taking on another procedure. On October 15, Kenya took to her Instagram Stories to re-share a video from Charette Cosmetics and esthetician Shaina Jade. In the clip, Kenya was seen lying down with goggles on as Jade zapped pulses on the skin under her arms with a device.

In the caption of the post, it was revealed Kenya was undergoing laser hair removal. "We're doing a couple different areas ... this treatment is gonna be pain-free," Jade stated in the video as she worked under Kenya's arms and also on her face. It's gonna double the energy that we're pushing into the skin that's gonna damage out the hair. So, we're maximizing your time [...] and shortening up your treatment plan."
The esthetician went on to prescribe "[six to eight] treatments," depending on the target areas of the body and how often patients want to come in, from "[two to eight weeks]" apart.
Here is a summary of the treatments Kenya Moore has undergone:
| Treatment | Description |
|---|---|
| MelanX Peel | A chemical peel designed to improve skin texture and tone. |
| Morpheus | A radio-frequency microneedling treatment. |
| Microneedling | A procedure that involves using fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. |
| Laser Hair Removal | A method of hair removal that uses laser technology to target hair follicles. |
Kenya Moore's At-Home Skincare Routine
In 2022, Kenya shared details about her skincare routine during an Amazon Live. “I have suffered with cystic acne my whole life,” she said, according to E! News. “It’s not like regular acne and you just get a bump, put some cream on it, and it goes away. I was constantly at the dermatologist. My skin has greatly improved partly because of my regimen.
“I have to have my iPhone to track my period on iPeriod’s free app. I get really bad PMS and need to warn myself and others. “My skin is super dry, so I carry Eucerin’s body lotion to soften it. For my face, I’m obsessed with Black Opal’s invisible powder.

“I’m hypoglycemic, so I have a Fiber One chocolate bar on me in case my blood-sugar level drops. “If I’ve been out all day, gum is not going to cut it. “I’m rereading Tony Robbins’ Unlimited Power. I first read it before I competed in Miss USA [in 1993] and it changed my life.
Kenya Moore on Haircare
No one can deny the Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s influence on pop culture. As resident beauty queen of the Bravo series, Kenya Moore has contributed to plenty of those can’t-miss moments, all while building her brand off screen.
“I’ve always had this passion for hair care. It came from my grandmother who raised me,” Moore told ESSENCE. “We love a wig. We love a weave…and all that stuff. But it shouldn’t be a necessity. It should just be an accessory, if that’s what you want. We want to be empowered to have a choice. If you want to rock your own hair, rock your own hair. But you shouldn’t wear weaves and stuff because you’re ashamed of your hair.
RHOA antics aside, Moore is also a treasure trove of beauty secrets. “If I wasn’t here, I wouldn’t even be wearing makeup,” she told ESSSENCE. “I’ve had cystic acne since I was 13 years old and a lot of people don’t know what that’s even like. It’s not a pimple. It’s a cyst that’s underneath your skin and it’s very thick and you can’t pop it and make it go away. You have to get them injected with steroids.
“It’s what I have. It’s what I’m working with. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. If it bothers me, I’ll do something about it. But I’m not going to do something about it because it bothers you. That same mindset is extended to her hair care regimen.

“You really should not put a ton of heat on your hair. A lot of companies market flat irons and curling irons at 450 degree heat. That’s what you boil chicken at. She continued, “What do you think it’s going to do to your hair? Of course it’s going to break it off and dry it out and make it extremely damaged. Step away from the heat, ladies!
