Julie Bowen: From "Modern Family" to Podcasting

Julie Bowen has made a stunning transformation over the years. For many, "Modern Family" still serves as a go-to comfort show with both lighthearted comedic moments and touching sentimental scenes. The 22-time Emmy-winning sitcom ran for 11 seasons between 2009 and 2020, with a large ensemble cast who appeared in 250 episodes.

Julie Bowen Saves a Hiker

Minnie John, a New Jersey resident, had a run-in with a celebrity who actually saved her life. Minnie, along with her son and husband, were hiking in Utah a few days ago. This hike was one that Minnie didn't expect to be so challenging, and being that she only ate breakfast, she ran into a medical issue.

Soon after, Minnie became very dizzy and fainted. Minnie woke up to two women helping her, one was putting a bandage on her face where she fell and the other giving her some snacks to try and regain some strength. Being a little out of it, Minnie thought she knew one of the women by her side and it turned out to be Modern Family star Julie Bowen and her sister who came to the rescue.

Sarah Hyland's Journey and the "Quitters" Podcast

Sarah Hyland has spoken about her kidney dysplasia and transplant journey before. However, her candid interview on "Quitters" with on-set mom Julie Bowen and cohost Chad Sanders revealed just how hard it was for Hyland to perform through the exhaustion and pain.

Playing Haley Dunphy on Modern Family for the first five years was an escape for Hyland. She lost weight, was in severe pain, and felt perpetual exhaustion. She even forgot filming certain episodes, including 2011's "Hit and Run," due to fatigue.
