Flights to Egypt from Denver: A Comprehensive Guide

Planning a trip from Denver to Egypt involves several factors, including airline choice, flight experience, and potential layovers. This article provides a comprehensive overview based on passenger reviews and experiences to help you make an informed decision.

Airline Reviews and Experiences

Various airlines offer flights from Denver to Egypt, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Here's a breakdown of passenger experiences with different airlines:

Delta Airlines

Many passengers appreciate flying with Delta. The staff are often described as friendly and happy. However, some flights may not meet expectations. One passenger reported an unpleasant flight attendant in first class who was neither pleasant nor particularly good at her service. Delta could improve communication regarding flight changes, ensuring passengers without the app are informed.

Turkish Airlines

This is my 2nd time with the Turkish airline. My experience was great with Turkish airlines.Would definitely recommend. However, some aspects need improvement. Some passengers have reported issues with the cleanliness of the plane and unpleasant odors. Paying extra for premium seats might not always be worth it, especially if the bassinet occupies space in front of your seat. Some passengers have also reported rude or discriminatory behavior from the staff. Food quality may not always meet business class standards. However, some passengers appreciate Turkish hospitality.

Lufthansa

Lufthansa generally maintains a good level of quality compared to US airlines. Passengers appreciate the food quality, complimentary French red wine, and a good movie selection. Ticket prices often include one free check-in luggage. However, issues such as flight delays and being bumped off flights can occur, leading to significant travel disruptions. We were moved twice on flights to the point we weren’t even on Lufthansa anymore. We had to fly united. Lost paid extra leg room twice. To top it all off we’re forced to pay $375 and $275, respectively for you luggage that was considered sports luggage. We were told it would be Lufthansa fares l, from the united desk, AND WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A LUFTHANSA FLIGHT! I’ll be calling once my trip is over on October 7th to all airlines and Kayak. This was ridiculous!

American Airlines and Iberia

American Airlines receives mixed reviews. While some passengers find the experience good value at a reasonable price, others note issues such as limited legroom and inconsistent enforcement of FAA rules by the crew. Iberia is described as a mess by some passengers. Disaster. Downgraded. Zero apology. No effort or coordination between gate and crew. Awful seat blocked by door emergency slide box. Iberia is a mess. App never works. Avoid this airline.

Other Airlines

Other airlines such as IndiGo are noted for cramped seating and inferior service. I wouldn't know what the flight was like. AI canceled my flight reservation!! There's no way to speak to an actual human to fix the issue! NEVER AGAIN! ALWAYS BOOK YOUR FLIGHT DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE NEVER GO THROUGH KAYAK OR JUSTFLY.COM!!

Common Issues and Concerns

Several recurring issues appear in passenger reviews:

  • Seat Comfort: Many passengers complain about small and uncomfortable seats with limited legroom. The seats are so small that you can barely move at all. Don't try to eat with utensils in your seat either - you will elbow your neighbor in the face. Miserably small and I swear they are shrinking every time I fly.
  • In-flight Entertainment: Some older aircraft have non-functional entertainment systems. The aircraft interior is old and tired on this aircraft. The entertainment system never worked despite the crews attempt to reset the system.
  • Customer Service: Rude or unhelpful staff can significantly impact the travel experience. Rude staff. I would avoid using the word racist but definitely partially or discriminatory. My 72 yrs old mother who is also disabled was traveling on this flight. She was the second passenger boarded to the plane. The First elderly couple ahead of my mother were allowed to use the airplane bathroom but my mother was denied entry stating it was for safety reasons. My mother objected the the couple in front of her were allowed but hostess still stated that due to the flight safety reasons she can’t use it. Even my mother explained that he is using blood pressure medication that’s why she have to use the restroom frequently but the crew continued arguing her. At one point the Mae attendent even suggested that if that’s the case my mother can urinate in her seat. The level of disrespect against an elderly lady is beyond my comprehension. This matter will be taken to the social media to shame the employees involved.
  • Cleanliness: Some flights suffer from poor cleanliness, including dirty bathrooms and unpleasant odors. The plane was not clean and smelled bad!
  • Flight Disruptions: Delays, cancellations, and missed connections are common issues that can cause significant stress and inconvenience. My flight was canceled 1 minute before boarding. The customer service was owful, no one could tell us what was happening. I spent 30hrs instead of 15 from Washington DC to Brussels. No apologie or help. I think they overbooked Frankfurt to New York and bumped me off. This changed my return travel I arrived home about 4 hours late. Almost 24 total travel time Totally unacceptable Would not travel with United.

Tips for a Smooth Flight

To enhance your travel experience from Denver to Egypt, consider the following tips:

  • Book Directly: Always book your flight directly with the airline to avoid issues with third-party booking platforms. ALWAYS BOOK YOUR FLIGHT DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE NEVER GO THROUGH KAYAK OR JUSTFLY.COM!!
  • Check Flight Status: Monitor your flight status regularly for any changes or delays. Without Kayak I would not have known about the change of gate or the delay. Kayak was faster to notify me.
  • Pack Essentials: Bring your own entertainment, snacks, and comfort items to mitigate potential issues with in-flight services. Airlines have to stop assuming passengers bring entertainment. Provide it like you used to in business class and above!!
  • Choose Seats Wisely: Select seats with extra legroom if possible, and be aware of the aircraft configuration. We liked the flight but while we purchased an aisle seat, our seats had a different configuration on this flight. A fellow passenger suggested that the airplane had been changed. Too bad we were not informed and had no chance to modify our seat preferences. We were stuck in the window and middle seats with no chance to walk around and go to the bathroom without disturbing our sleeping fellow passenger.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water during the flight to combat dehydration. NI don't know about the others but the flight attendant that took care of us had the absolute wrong approach "how do we dare asking for water or anything else for that matter".

Table: Airline Comparison
