The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated (EWF) is an intergovernmental organization that was founded on August 25, 1937, in New York City. It was established under the advice of Emperor Haile Selassie I by Dr. Malaku Emanuel Beyen and Princess Dorothy Bayen. Dr. Malaku Bayen was the cousin and personal physician of the Emperor.
The EWF was formally established on August 25, 1937, in New York City as The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated. It was originally a not-for-profit membership organization incorporated in the State of New York with Articles of Incorporation that established the EWF as an American company that promotes American values and is operated by 2/3 African Americans that reside in the city of New York, New York.
The organization's aims were to mobilize support for the Ethiopians during the Italian invasion of 1935-41 and to embody the unity of Ethiopians (Black people) home and abroad. Many locals were established in other parts of the World with the intention to provide services to local communities.
We the Black People of the World, in order to effect Unity, Solidarity, Liberty, Freedom and self-determination, to secure Justice and maintain the Integrity of Ethiopia, which is our divine heritage, do hereby establish and ordain this constitution for The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated.

Origins and Early Years
The EWF built on the efforts of African Americans who, in 1936, sent a delegation consisting of three prominent Harlem figures, all leaders of the black organization known as United Aid for Ethiopia. Reverend William Lloyd Imes, Pastor of the prestigious St. James Presbyterian Church, Philip M. Savory of the Victory Insurance Company and co-owner of the New York Amsterdam News, and Cyril M. Philp, secretary of United Aid, sailed to England in the summer of 1936 to speak with Emperor Haile Selassie concerning financial matters.
In response, the Emperor empowered his personal physician His Imperial Highness Prince Malaku E. Bayen, Phd., as his personal emissary. By 1937, Emperor Haile Selassie I was impressed by the participation of Black people in the Harlem Renaissance, he toured many universities in The United States. He knew that the business ethics and determination of Harlem Americans would greatly benefit from employing a treaty.
The first branch of the EWF outside the United States was set up in Kingston, Jamaica, and by 1940 there were EWF chapters in various parts of Latin America and the Caribbean. Bayen set up the EWF's newspaper, The Voice of Ethiopia, and led the project of federating the EWF.
The Mission and Aims of the EWF

The EWF was given custodianship over an area of land in Ethiopia named Shashemane for the fearless efforts of African Americans that rendered support to Emperor Haile Selassie I during the Italian invasion by Mussolini.
The organization is grounded in civic service for the welfare of our global community. The council pushes policies and advocates to change the laws that harm all Black People. The EWF advocates for the love of our ancestors and the equality they fought for over 500 years.
The EWF was established by Emperor Haile Selassie I and Dr. Dorothy Bayen to serve as the governing body over all Land Grants given to the global Diaspora community by African Leaders, Chiefs and Kings.
The primary aims of the EWF are:
- To promote love and good-will among Ethiopians at home and abroad and thereby to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of Ethiopia.
- To disseminate the ancient Ethiopian culture among its members, to correct abuses, relieve oppression and carve for ourselves and our posterity, a destiny comparable with our idea of perfect manhood and God’s purpose in creating us.
- To promote and pursue happiness; for it is the goal of human life and endeavor.
- To usher in the teaching and practice of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.
- To promote and stimulate interest among its members in world affairs, and to cultivate a spirit of international goodwill and comity.
- To promote friendly interest among its members, to develop a fraternal spirit among them and to inculcate in its members the desire to render voluntary aid and assistance to one another at all times.
- To render voluntary aid and protection to its members, without fee or charge for same when in need.
- To give concrete material and voluntary aid without fee or charge for the same, to all such refugees and disabled victims and to raise funds by voluntary subscription for the purposes aforementioned.
- To encourage its members to develop interest and pride in Democratic institutions and to promote Democratic principles and ideals.
Land Grants in Shashamane
As a direct result of the support Ethiopia received from black people in the West, mainly at that time African-Americans, during the Italian invasion of 1935-1941, the Emperor in 1948 granted five Gashas (approximately 200 hectares) of land near Shashamane to the EWF for African-Americans in the Diaspora who desired to return to Africa.

His Majesty knew that America would not uphold their promise to give 40 acres and a mule to the stolen African Slaves that were brought to America so he offered Land Grants to African Americans in Harlem, through The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated so that we would have the perfect ingredients to be able to run a complete government with a religious undertone.
The land grant rest in an African town called Shashamane (ሻሸመኔ) and was gifted as a response to American Africans support during the Italian Invasion of 1935-1941. This Land was meant to embody the unity of Ethiopians (All Black people) at home and abroad. Many families moved to Shashamane, many of which would later come from Jamaica.

The EWF is a non partisan federation funded by membership dues, donations and sponsorship funding. The organization is committed to advancing cultural diplomacy initiatives. The EWF has members across the globe that abide by its Constitution and ByLaws and lift each other up no matter how far they are apart.
The community offers a global support system and members are experienced in a wide range of life topics that have been able to solve some of the scariest times that we live in today. Our Mission is to coordinate and streamline with the Central Headquarters towards the Complete Development and Resettlement of the Ethiopian Continent (a.k.a. Africa) and Her Peoples. Therein Our Community, as a Local Subsidiary Corporation it would be Our privilege to Aid, Support, Care for and teach Those who are willing to learn and render there voluntary subscription towards Community Development and informatics.

In coordinating with government officials and their agencies. Our intent is to continue to help in the national and international educational system. We assist students in their profession and help establish their careers. We exist to create new ways and means that will benefit students in their quest to seek knowledge. We take micro measures with the proper techniques for the school system and educational processing for the betterment of ourselves and our global community. We are building and living up to our noble 'expectation and integrity'. We wish to have the support and financial assistance from all those who are actively in the position to help us through the spiritual warfare and psychological warfare we are facing. The headquarters' growth is important to foster a sense of community independence and economic prosperity. The formation and inclusiveness of the EWF Constitution and ByLaws along with the Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations between Ethiopia and the United States of America has encouraged autocratic states to develop into democracies in order to form an effective and internal government.
The Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations
The Ethiopian World Federation is an Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) established by the Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations between Ethiopia and the United States of America on September 7, 1951. We are grounded in civic service for the welfare of our global community.
This treaty came with a permanent secretariat, with a global membership-that does not pay taxes so long as High contracting parties such as the EWF continue to provide and fulfill all constitutional advancements, updates, responsibilities, transparency, refugee support etc. The EWF is not obliged to provide information to any parliament. The privileges and immunities are intended to ensure their independent and effective functioning.
Structure and Organization
Locals of the Federation are located worldwide; the Caribbean, the USA, Europe, Africa and South America. Properly registered and Chartered Locals are entitled to participate in annual Conventions/Elections of the Executive Council held July 16 each year.
The current administration for the EWF ran a campaign in Africa to appeal to the youth in 2020 which eventually reinstated its non profit status getting the EWF back on track with its constitutional duties.
If international organizations want the advantages listed in the title, they need to fit the Act's definition of what an "international organization" is. The Secretary of State was given the power to advise the President (who makes the final decisions) on matters like whether an organization should or should not be granted protection under the IOIA.

Several individuals played pivotal roles in the establishment and development of the EWF:

The Lion of Judah Society
1998 The Lion Of Judah Society, now a Faith-based Christian Rastafari and Ethiopian church with co-labourers, locally and nationally successfully lobbies International Organizations such as the UN, OAU, IMF, etc.
2000 The Lion Of Judah Society and pending EWF membership(s) inquire about official authority and legality of the “Federation” Membership(s), Chartered Locals Status and Charter Applications from the now known unauthorized and documented suspected criminals such as Ronald Pennycooke, Orville Morris, Albert Smith and their group(s) who “claimed” to be “duly elected officers” of the Federation but are in fact separate entities.
The Plaintiff(s), Ronald Pennycooke, Orville Morris, Albert Smith and their group give the Lion Of Judah Society members the runaround and fraudulent advice when they were asked to provide them the Federation’s Entity Information which is available for the public by the Freedom of Information Act, along with the Federation’s Principle Office, Membership Acceptance Letter of which they claimed.
Dr. Gladstone Robinson, the sole true and lawful attorney, appointed the legal and constitutional power-of-attorney for TheEthiopian World Federation, Incorporated on August 25, 1937 in regards to Organization, the Land Grant(s) of His Imperial Majesty, The Emperor of Ethiopia and The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated international pays fact-finding visit the United States of America from Ethiopia to further investigate the rumours of illegal and adverse activities (Art 1 Sec. 7) taking place by unauthorized persons conducting business in the Federation’s name.
Dr. Robinson meets with numerous individuals who are members of corporations posing as “locals” which have a similar name(s) to “Federation”, all claiming to be the “Federation” in order to verify, authenticate and confirm who are the culprates that were doing this knowingly in violation of the law and legal process.
Dr. Gladstone Robinson, was then able to verify, authenticate and confirm for himself that the majority of unauthorized persons who falsely claimed to be “Federation” members are, in fact, Non-Members (Art 2 Sec. 3).
Dr. Gladstone Robinson, meets with The Lion Of Judah Society and pending EWF membership(s), who were seeking to establish a Local legitimately according to the EWF Constitution and By-Laws becomes better informed of the illegal activities along with the legal evidences documenting the fraud and disenfranchisement of Ethiopians and African-Americans that has been taking place for the previous ten (10) years in the name of the Federation, namely by Ronald Pennycooke, Orville Morris and Albert Smithand the many entities with similar name(s) to the “Federation”, which they have unconstitutionally incorporated nationwide.
After carefull review of the numerous unconstitutional certificate of incorporations of entities with a very similar name(s) to the Federation, Dr. Gladstone Robinson, the sole true and lawful attorney, appointed the legal and constitutional attorney and executive head officially accepts The Lion Of Judah Society’s pending EWF membership Charter Application and Pledges in its membership (By-Laws Sec. 6) and duly elected officers (Art. 4 Sec. 3; By-Laws Sec. 6) in to the legal office(s) of the First Unit also known Constitutionally as Local Number One (Art 5 Sec. 1) in order to investigate, audit and correct the “unfinished business”, unauthorized use and abuse of the Federation’s Name, Aims and Objects (Art. 1 Sec. 7).
The legal and constitutional 1st Unit, Executive Council and legal advisory established February 2003 to complete a full investigation, auditing and other necessary acts prior to any future Annual Convention be authorized, accredited and duly called (Art.
Furthermore, Dr. Gladstone Robinson, the sole true and lawful attorney and executive council chairman appoints Tehetena Girma and Ras Iadonis Tafari, executive members of the Federation’s Principle Office as Power-of-Attorney(s) for The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated on August 25, 1937 in regards to Land Grant(s) of His Imperial Majesty, The Emperor of Ethiopia and To The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated to Act-Together with full legal and executive authority.

Membership joining fee still remains at US$1.00 and membership dues are only 10c per week - as it was in 1937.
