Al-Ahram

Al-Ahram was founded on December 27, 1875, by two Lebanese brothers, Bishara and Salim Takla, who were living in Alexandria at the time. The first issue was published on August 5, 1876, in Al-Mansheya, Alexandria. It began as a weekly newspaper published every Saturday, but after two months, the brothers turned it into a daily newspaper. This newspaper was distributed in Egypt and the Levant.

Akhbar el-Yom

Akhbar el-Yom is one of the largest press institutions in Egypt, the Arab world, the Middle East and the most famous. It was founded in 1944 by the twins Mustafa Amin (February 21, 1914 - April 13, 1997) and Ali Amin (February 21, 1914 - April 3, 1976).

Al-Gomhuria

Al-Gomhuria newspaper is an Egyptian newspaper founded by the government of the July Revolution in 1954 to be the voice of the revolution and supervised by one of the revolutionaries, Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat. Its headquarters are located on Ramses Street in Cairo, Egypt.

Youm7 (Al Youm Al Sabea)

Youm7 is an Egyptian daily newspaper. The first issue was published in October 2008 on a weekly basis, and since May 31, 2011, it has been published daily. The newspaper is political, economic, and diverse, founded by Walid Mustafa, an Egyptian businessman. According to media reports in 2017, the distribution of Youm7 reaches more than ten thousand copies daily. Businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima was the main investor in Youm7 at the end of 2012, and businessman Alaa Al-Kaki, owner of Al-Nahar channels, was also one of the most prominent investors in Youm7.

Al-Masry Al-Youm

Al-Masry Al-Youm is an independent Egyptian newspaper published by Al-Masry Al-Youm for Press and Publishing. It was established in 2004. The first editor-in-chief was Anwar Al-Hawari, who is considered the real founder of the newspaper. On the day of the first issue, the British Broadcasting Corporation conducted an interview with him in which he announced the birth of the independent daily newspaper. He wrote his daily column opposite Magdi Muhanna's column, and together they adopted the principle of change and circulation of power.

Al-Shorouk

Al-Shorouk, also known as El Shorouk, began publishing in Egypt on Sunday, February 1, 2009, to be the latest birth in the world of independent newspapers in Egypt. The new newspaper has been a daily publication since its inception, published by the Egyptian Company for Arab and International Publishing, one of the companies of Dar Al-Shorouk, whose board of directors is headed by Engineer Ibrahim El-Moallem.

Al-Dostour

Al-Dostour is an Egyptian daily newspaper published by Al-Dostour Foundation for Press and Publishing. The editor-in-chief was the journalist Ibrahim Issa until his dismissal on October 5, 2010. The chairman of the board is Mr. El-Sayed El-Badawi Shehata. The first issue was published in December 1995 with a permit from the State of Cyprus, which was the method followed by a number of Egyptian newspapers at that time in Egypt.

Al-Fagr

Al-Fagr is an independent Egyptian weekly newspaper. It is based in Cairo and was founded on June 4, 2005. It is issued by Future Media Company, owned by businessman Mohamed Al-Amin. It was founded by writer Magdi El-Gallad.
