Desta has take the time to get g-free right: their g-free injera was light and fluffy. If they offered a class I would take it.
The vegetables themselves arrived quickly and were piping hot, with a broad and complimentary array of options and everything fresh and perfectly spiced.
The greens - which can sometimes be bland and fibrous - were perfect!

Listen. With apologies to my favorite ramen spot, Desta Ethiopian Kitchen in Emory Point is my new favorite dining destination in Atlanta.
Some places where I have tried g-free injera seem to offer it reluctantly, and the texture is dark, dense, gummy (too gummy!), and overly sour.
The lovely and amazing manager, Bebe, was even kind enough to bring me a side of butter - but it turned out that it wasn’t needed!
