Career Beginnings
Alichi's journey into Nollywood began in 2010 by chance. She randomly joined the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), applied for a movie role, and secured her first opportunity as an actress in a movie titled "Magic Money," which featured Mercy Johnson and Bob-Manuel Udokwu. She landed a role in the movie ‘Magic Money’, thanks to her height. Recounting her early days, Chizzy shared in an interview: “My journey to stardom started like a joke. I saw an AGN banner in Enugu and I went to ask them about registration and I registered. That was how I landed my first role on ‘6 scenes’. A female friend informed me about the audition, so on getting there, they were almost rounding off.
The turning point in her career came with the movie "Akaraoku," which translates to "hot akara," in 2016, directed by Yul Edochie. The movie poster gained viral attention on social media, as people humorously assumed the actress was an akara seller.

Chizzy Alichi got married to Ugochukwu Chike-Mbah in December 2019. The actress narrated she “…prayed, cried, and gave alms”. After her marriage, she ventured into movies and received full support from her husband. She wrote that every marriage must not have children.
There was a rumour that Chizzy Alichi was dating Flavour, a Nigerian top musician. Apart from acting and movie production, Chizzy is also a video vixen. She made a nice appearance in Flavour Nabania’s music videos.
In an interview, however, she revealed that she loves kids and wants to have five children. Chizzy also said that she will never divorce her husband because of cheating, since there is no guarantee that the next man won’t cheat.
