Chad Taylor, born in 1970 or 1971, is an American guitarist and backing vocalist known for his work with the band Live and The Gracious Few.

Early Life and Career with Live
Taylor's journey in music began early. He met his future Live bandmates in middle school in York, Pennsylvania, at the age of 13. Taylor was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Live and had appeared on all their albums to June 2022.
Live experienced significant success, becoming one of the prominent bands of the 90s. The band's journey wasn't without its challenges, including internal drama and legal disputes.

The Gracious Few and Other Projects
When vocalist Ed Kowalczyk left Live in 2009, Taylor joined Live bandmates Patrick Dahlheimer and Chad Gracey to form The Gracious Few along with Kevin Martin and Sean Hennesy from Candlebox.
They released their debut album, The Gracious Few, in 2010.
Beyond performing, Taylor has also contributed to the music industry as a producer, including the 1996 album Happily Ever After by Solution A.D.
