Lee William Ochsner, 64, of Buckeye, Arizona, passed away on Sept. 20, 2009, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 17, 1945, in Huron, South Dakota, to William and Tillie Ochsner.
A memorial service was held on Saturday at Arizona City Evangelical Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Mumme officiating.
Education and Career
Mr. Ochsner graduated from Huron College. He dedicated his life to education, serving as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and principal in various schools across South Dakota, New Mexico, and Arizona before his retirement. From 2001 to 2005, he held the position of principal at Santa Cruz Valley Union High School in Eloy.
Family
Lee William Ochsner is survived by his wife, Laura M. of Gila Bend, along with a loving family of children and grandchildren.
He is survived by six sons: Dan Ochsner of Huron, Scott Ochsner of Tea, S.D., Chad Ochsner of Britton, S.D., Greg and Clay Ochsner of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Lee Ochsner Jr. of Buckeye.

He is also survived by five daughters: Michelle Brandenburg of Alpena, S.D., Diamond Ochsner of Coolidge, Zenus M. Ochsner, Maria P. and Laura M., all of Gila Bend.
Additionally, he leaves behind a sister, Darlene Cameron of Huron; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nichole J.
