Remembering Chad Dial: A Life of Love, Laughter, and Legacy

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of three remarkable individuals named Chad Dial. Each Chad, though unique in their life's journey, left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew them.

Chad Everett Dial (March 23, 1982 - December 12, 2023)

Chad was born on March 23, 1982, in Springfield, to Klint Dial and Gale Dial. He married Alison N. Askew on July 26, 2008.

Chad was triple master certified by the IICRC in restoration and also OSHA certified. When he lived in VA, he enjoyed going to the beach with his friends and family. Chad also enjoyed swimming with his family, wrestling, grilling, cheering for the Cardinals and Steelers, and spending time with his family and friends. He could often be heard bragging about his kids. He loved to banter with his three siblings.

He was preceded in death by his father and infant, Baby Dial. He is survived by his wife, Alison Dial of Mahomet; one son, Carter Dial; one daughter, Ava Dial; his mother, Gale Dial; three siblings, Eva Koontz, Abbie (Greg) Winhold, and Evan (Alli) Dial; two nieces, Brady and Sylvie; six nephews, Tyler, Roarke, Bennett, Dace, Donovan, and Baker; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Larry Askew.

A service to honor Chad's life was held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield, with opportunities to share your favorite memories of Chad. Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.

Chad Norman Dial (June 1, 1986 - June 11, 2025)

Chad Norman Dial died unexpectedly on June 11, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho at the age of 39. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.

He was born on June 1, 1986, to Paul and Shauneen Dial in Rexburg, Idaho and grew up in St. Anthony, Idaho later moving to Green River, Wyoming and back to Rigby, Idaho where he graduated high school. He married his wife Sara Lethcoe on November 3, 2020, in Nampa, Idaho. They have called Nampa home for the past 6 years.

Chad was a cherished husband, father, brother, nephew, and son. His legacy lives on in the many memories shared by family and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Sara; one son, Gavin Dial; and five stepdaughters Adiana and Celia Lethcoe, Angelica, Evelina, and Lavinia Willden. He is also survived by his father, Paul (Deanne) Dial; sister, Nicole (Justin) Ellis, and brother Ryan Dial. He leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and stepsiblings, who loved him and will miss his kind heart.

Meredith Coulter Dial (September 2, 1988 - August 20, 2024)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Meredith Coulter Dial on August 20, 2024. Meredith was born September 2, 1988, to David and Alena Coulter in Columbia, SC.

Meredith was a devoted wife to Chad, blessing his life immeasurably. Meredith and Chad were joined by their oldest son, Myatt in 2017, and their family was made complete just earlier this year when they were graced with the birth of their second son, Owen.

Meredith will be best remembered by her infectious laugh and her limitless compassion. In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Meredith made a lasting impact in her community. She also blessed countless lives through her passion for making wishes come true through her service to Make-A-Wish South Carolina.

In recognition of her limitless compassion and energy for the Make-A-Wish cause of delivering hope to deserving children in need across South Carolina she was named a member of the board. The rich legacy of Meredith’s precious life will live on in the countless lives she touched.

The family held a visitation on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Riverland Hills Baptist Church.
