Remembering the Lives of Chad Damron and Family

Chad E. Damron (1976-2024)

Chad E. Damron, 47, of Bellevue, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

His children were the main focus of his life, and supporting them in their endeavors is what gave him his pure happiness. Chad was a loving father and proud grandfather.

Chad was witty and had a great, sometimes dry sense of humor. He was always looking forward to his grandson coming over to get snuggles and play.

At family get-togethers Chad was always the first in line with his plate ready to eat, he enjoyed cooking especially his famous chili. He was a WWE fanatic, enjoyed watching football, and had recently begun to watch NASCAR.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Hannah Damron of Bellevue; son, Logan Damron of Bellevue; grandson: Zayn Edward Paul; siblings, Josh (Rachel) Brant, Jeremy (Jennifer) Brant, and Nickole (Ty) Shober; and his mom Lavonda King (J.D.) Along with many nieces and nephews who loved him.

Chad is preceded in death by his twin grandsons, Ian and Myles Damron; and uncle Maynard and Delcie Dudley.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.

Carl Edward Damron (1953-2013)

Carl Edward Damron, 60, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Fisher Titus Medical Center. He was born on July 12, 1953, in New London, Ohio, and spent most of his life in the New London and Norwalk area.

Throughout his life, Carl enjoyed collecting coins, was an avid pool player, and he loved fast cars. Carl had worked at Rockwell in Wellington and was a manager at Master Pizza for many years.

Carl is survived by his mother Inez (Carl) Damron-Davidson of Elyria, a son, Chad Damron of Bellevue; brothers, Rodney (Peggy) Damron of Fitchville, Lois (George) Dillon of Painesville Township and Patty (Kevin) Hiser of Sandusky; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father Edward Damron.

Arrangements were entrusted to Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. A graveside service was held at a later date.

Charles B. Damron (1948-2019)

Charles B. Damron, age 71, of Morristown, born on June 2, 1948, in Logan, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at his residence. He was a member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by his family that he loved dearly.

Charles was a big U.T. football fan and enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball and soccer teams when they were younger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Butch” and Macil Damron.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Mary “Dolly” Damron; children, Dawn (Jon) Underwood of Jefferson City, Dana (Philip) Toby of Russellville, and Chad Damron (Shonna); grandchildren, Abreigh Nance, Bryton Underwood, Flecia Toby, Adaira Damron-Reynolds, Cade Damron, Ian Toby, and Asia and Braden Damron; brothers, Dave (Sally) Damron of Colorado and Earl (Alma) Damron of Qatar; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held on Thursday, August 22nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. with Rev. Justin Self officiating. Followed by entombment services on Friday, August 23rd at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The Damron family has experienced significant loss, and their memories will be cherished by those who knew them.
