Christopher Wayne Harris, aged 20, of Norman, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 1994, in Norman. He was born on July 13, 1974, in Ada, to Thurl and Linda Harris.

Chris played football throughout his school years and graduated from Moore High School in 1992. He was also a Boy Scout and a member of the First Baptist Church in Moore. Having moved to Norman one and a half years prior from Moore, he worked as a warehouseman at Holton Express.
Chris is survived by his parents, Thurl and Linda Harris of Moore; a sister, Connie Harris of Oklahoma City; a brother, Thurl Harris, Jr. of Norman; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Mullican of Moore; and three nieces, Mesha, Kesha, and Page Harris.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Harris, and his grandparents, Willard and Leona Harris.
The funeral service for Christopher Wayne Harris took place on Thursday, August 4, 1994, at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, located at 304 S.W. 134, Oklahoma City. Rev. Jim White officiated the service, assisted by Rev. Kevin Fore.
Pallbearers included Phil Buntin, Paul Potter, Ben Hazlip, Brad Heiderich, Chris McKinsey, Kenny Mullican, III, and Chad Cox.
His parents shared a heartfelt message: "Our precious son, Chris, went home to be with his brother, David, and Jesus, his Lord. Chris was such a rare jewel. We almost lost him at birth, but God heard our prayers and miraculously gave us twenty more wonderful years to be with him. We will always cherish the precious memories we have of Chris and look forward to the time we will be with our sons again."
