The Passing of Chad E. Condon (2023)

Pennsylvania State Police at King of Prussia said Chad E. Condon, 47, of the city’s Prospect Park neighborhood, struck a concrete barrier near the left lane twice before tailspinning across all lanes into the guardrail near the right lane, then stopping in the left lane.

A vehicle driving in the left lane hit the right side of Condon’s car, spinning it back into the right lane guardrail, police said. The second vehicle struck the concrete barrier before stopping on the shoulder, authorities said.

Condon died at the scene two hours later, the coroner reported.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for a suspected, minor injury, but there was no update on their condition yet, police said.

The crash is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police at King of Prussia and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
