Born on March 7, 1985, Guy Pelham Benson is an American columnist, commentator, and political pundit. He is the political editor of Townhall.com. Benson lived much of his early life overseas, then grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where he attended middle school and Ridgewood High School. During high school, he was known for broadcasting sports on local television.
While working toward his bachelor's degree at Northwestern University, Benson worked for the campus radio station, WNUR, broadcasting sporting events and hosting a political talk show. After graduating with honors from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2007, Benson served as the producer of The Sandy Rios Show, then a local afternoon radio show with Christian Right commentator Sandy Rios on WYLL-AM in Chicago. Benson also contributes to Townhall's sister site, Hot Air. In 2013, Benson joined Fox News as a contributor. He currently hosts The Guy Benson Show on Fox News Radio.

Chad started in music radio in the 1990s at the legendary KRTH in Los Angeles as the Executive Producer of the Robert W. Morgan Show and has also been featured on Los Angeles radio stations such as KZLA-FM and KNCI-FM and KWOD-FM in Sacramento.

In his early years, fresh out of school, Chad left everything he knew at home in Southern California to play professional soccer in Europe and was talented enough to be signed onto the rosters of several teams including the Bristol Rovers, the Fallkirk Scotland and the Portsmouth Football Club.
Chad still kicks the soccer ball around a bit now but mostly with his 10 year old son Jack. Chad has a son named Jack, who has changed his world.
